Overview

The Administration and Finance Directorate is a critical operational arm of the National Investment Board (NIB). Its existence is justified by the need to ensure seamless execution of the Board’s mandate. This directorate handles internal systems that support governance, accountability, and organizational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all administrative, financial, and human resources operations of the NIB.
  • Oversee ICT infrastructure, data management, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Coordinate public relations and strategic communication through outreach and awareness campaigns.
  • Provide internal controls, procurement oversight, and asset management support.
  • Support recruitment, staff development, and HR compliance.

Organisational Structure

The Directorate is headed by the Director of Administration and Finance, supported by four main departments:

  • Human Resources and Administration: Oversees staffing, welfare, and administrative services.
  • Finance: Manages budget planning, accounting, and reporting functions.
  • ICT and Data Management: Supports digital systems, cybersecurity, and data analytics.
  • Communications and Outreach: Drives internal and external communications and stakeholder engagement.

Each department is led by a Deputy Director and staffed with principal officers, senior officers, and supporting technical personnel.

The Administration and Finance Directorate fits within this legal framework by:

  • Supporting the Secretariat in administrative coordination.
