Overview
The National Investment Board (NIB), in line with the NIB Act, coordinates with Immigration Services to provide streamlined access to visas and permits for foreign investors, entrepreneurs, and skilled professionals. Our One Stop Shop model reduces bureaucracy and accelerates processing timelines for approved investment projects.
Available Permits
- Investor Permit: Issued to foreign nationals investing in approved business sectors. Valid for up to 5 years, renewable.
- Work Permit: For foreign employees and technical staff under registered investment projects.
- Dependent Permit: For immediate family members (spouse, children) of permit holders.
- Business Visa: Short-term entry visa for feasibility studies, investment exploration, and negotiations.
Who Qualifies?
- Foreign nationals with approved investment projects registered under the NIB
- Entrepreneurs establishing businesses under priority sectors
- Technical experts or skilled workers contracted by registered investors
- Family members accompanying approved permit holders
Application Process
- Register your investment with the NIB via the Business Registration Portal.
- Submit visa/permit application through the One Stop Shop (online or in person).
- NIB verifies documents and liaises with Immigration for clearance.
- Permits/Visas issued within 5β10 working days upon approval.
