PSRU Presents the MFR Report on NIB to the Management of NIB
The Public Sector Refrom Unit (PSRU), under the Office of the President, on Friday February 7th 2025, presented the findings and recommendations of the Management Functional Review (MFR) to the National Investment Board’s management at the NIB Secretariat 3 Jomo Kenyatta Road, Freetown.Welcoming the team from PSRU, the Executive Director of NIB Dr. Edward Hinga Sandy, expressed delight and thanked PSRU for the diligence and hard work put into preparation of the report. He acknowledged the collaborative efforts between PSRU and NIB, which involved meetings, interviews and study tours to examine how similar operations in other African countries have successfully implemented their models. The Director of PSRU, Sulaiman Phoray-Musa, thanked the steering committee comprising key Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) for their tremendous support during the exercise. Mr. Phoray-Musa remarked during his presentation, “It will not be perfect but we want to get started.” He also commended the NIB management team for their cooperation and support throughout the process of compiling the report. The MFR report outlines key recommendations aimed at optimizing NIB’s efficiency and effectiveness in attracting and facilitating investments. Latest News
